It has the option to switch to bypass mode. This is a very popular booster to use with the GPX 4500 and 5000, as well as the GPX-6000 & GPZ-7000, producing exceptional sound clarity.
N.B. Can also be used with a SDC-2300 using an audio adaptor plug.
